From Idyllic Emmental to the World.
The ELAG Group began its success story in Kirchberg in 1956 and now distributes its products worldwide. From the innovative paper bag of the 1960s to the iconic airsickness bag of the 1970s, ELAG quickly gained global recognition for its products—and continues to do so.
In 1991, a new production site was established in Munster, Alsace, complementing the original Swiss facility in Kirchberg. Since 2007, we have also successfully expanded into Australia.
We have not only grown our global footprint but also continuously expanded our product range. With our cutlery pouches (Pochetta) and other high-quality, functional paper bags, we have built a strong reputation in the foodservice and takeaway sectors as a reliable and innovative producer.
Today, we advise, develop, and sell our solutions across the globe.
