David Giraudeau is the great-nephew of André Barreteau, founder of the La Mie Câline Group. He joined the family business in 1994, when the network had around twenty stores, with the mission of expanding its reach, particularly in southern France. Collaborative and people-focused, he places great importance on managing employees and franchisees with a close, human-centered approach.
For nearly ten years, he recruited new franchisees before taking charge of the group’s subsidiaries. In 2005, he was appointed Network Managing Director, and later Group Chief Executive Officer, contributing to the national expansion and structuring of the network. Under his leadership, La Mie Câline has remained true to its family values while continuing to innovate in artisanal bakery and pastry.
