Pierre de Chantérac is Head of Coffee at Terres de Café, a Paris-based roaster committed to specialty coffee. Trained at Ferrandi Paris, he turned to coffee early in his studies, drawn by the complexity of aromas and the sensory dimension of each cup. He quickly made a name for himself in competition, winning the French Barista Masters title in 2019.
He went on to confirm his talent by winning the Brewers Cup twice (2019 and 2021), the Ibrik/Cezve World Championship in 2023, and by competing in several other international contests. In his role at Terres de Café, he oversees coffee quality, bean sourcing, team training, and ensures that every cup served reflects the highest standards of terroir and craftsmanship.
