Born in Arras in 1987, Brian Boclet grew up above his family’s bakery in Roubaix, surrounded by the comforting aromas of bread and pastries. From an early age, he developed a deep curiosity and passion for the craft.
After earning a BTS in Business and gaining international experience in Cambridge, London, and Singapore, he chose to return to his roots and join the family business.
He trained alternately at the INBP (earning his CAP, BP, and BM diplomas) before continuing his apprenticeship in Paris with renowned bakers. Later, in southwestern France, he took over a bakery and quickly won several local competitions.
In 2017, he moved to Switzerland and joined the team of Meilleur Ouvrier de France baker Thomas Marie at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne as a teaching master. Thomas became his mentor and guided him through his journey to the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France competition, where Brian reached the finals.
In 2023, Thomas Marie entrusted him with the management of the prestigious EHL bakery, where Brian now leads his team with passion and a strong dedication to mentorship and transmission.
