Nicolas Schweitzer is the co-founder and CEO of La Vie™, a French start-up specializing in plant-based meat alternatives. A graduate in International Business from Sciences Po, he turned to sustainable food after an initial career in fintech. His mission: to recreate the taste, texture, and appearance of bacon and lardons using a patented plant-based fat technology. Since its creation in 2019, La Vie™ has raised €25 million to accelerate its growth in retail and foodservice. The brand is now available in thousands of outlets across Europe and aims to become a global leader in “plant-based pork.”
