Jonas Caillet, 23, is an engineering student and President of the non-profit organization Le Blé du Cœur. After completing scientific preparatory classes for France’s Grandes Écoles, he joined Arts et Métiers ParisTech, where he complemented his technical training with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from Paris-Dauphine University. He is currently continuing his studies at Mines Paris – PSL, with the ambition of putting his scientific expertise at the service of public action. As the founder of Le Blé du Cœur, he developed the FlourBox, a containerized micro-factory that upcycles unsold bread into eco-responsible flour. Developed in partnership with industrial and institutional stakeholders, the project aims to structure a national value chain to combat food waste.
